Marina Samprovalaki

About Me

Currently working as an AI Engineer at Agile Actors, specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Retrieval-Augmented Generation for images and documents, and focusing on Generative AI.

I have completed an MSc by Research in Computer Science, under the supervision of Prof. Ion Androutsopoulos and Prof. John Pavlopoulos, focusing on Multimodal Large Language Models and their applications in the biomedical domain, particularly in Diagnostic Captioning. Areas of expertise include Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Generative AI.

Additionally, I am an active member of the Natural Language Processing Group at AUEB, where we engage in research on NLP and Machine Learning.
